7-12 Campus Welcome and Timetable

Dear 7-12 Students & Families,

We look forward to seeing all students at the 7-12 Campus on Monday, 30th January.

Daymap is now updated; please check your timetable in readiness for the first day back.

Block 1: students will move to their allocated Home Group class for Block 1 (8:50 am start). They will participate in a range of introductory activities and a whole-site assembly to welcome everyone back and meet a few new staff to EFS 7-12 Campus.

Students will commence scheduled lessons at the start of Block 2 (11:05 am).

Timetable Adjustments:

The Timetable Team will meet with individual students who have not received a completed timetable or require adjustments due to VET/ASBA. Meeting times will be published on Daymap Bulletin, so keep an eye out if this relates to you.

In addition, we have set aside time to respond to the timetable inquiries we have received over the holiday. Students will be contacted via Daymap and email directly regarding their inquiry.

As per our communication in December 2022, timetables and class placements have been carefully developed based on student preferences. Whilst requests for changes have been thoughtfully considered, changes are not guaranteed due to the highly complex nature of the class placement process.

Regards,

7-12 Site Leadership Team

2023 Timetable - 7-12 Campus

Dear 7-12 Families

2023 Timetable

Students will receive their Semester 1, 2023 timetables via their school email address before COB on Friday 16th December.

Timetables and class placements have been carefully developed based on student preferences. Whilst requests for changes have been thoughtfully considered, changes are not guaranteed due to the highly complex nature of the class placement process. Refinements have been made over the last few weeks taking all such requests into consideration (including allocations of alternative courses where blanks arose from preference clashes). This process is now complete and class allocations are considered final.

Students will notice a change in timetable structure from previous years. Whilst the times for the start and end of the day, and all breaks remain the same, the lessons will be delivered over 3 x 105 minute learning blocks per day. This will minimise movement and allow deeper engagement and improved collaboration for students. Subjects will still receive the same number of learning minutes per week as before.

Please check the stationery requirements for timetabled courses which will be sent home in the holiday mail out.  Stationery should be purchased before the return to school in Week 1.

We look forward to welcoming our students back for a smooth start in 2023. Meanwhile have a safe and happy holiday.

Regards,

7-12 Site Leadership Team
